This year, Visit Wales is launching their most recent tourism campaign ‘Croeso’

We’ll be focusing a lot of our marketing and social media around the theme, paying close attention to the feelings of fun and joy that you can experience ‘Only in Wales’.

Not only will we be talking about this a lot on our socials, but we may also have some special themed events being planned throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Situated in the picturesque seaside village of Aberporth, there are plenty of relaxing or exciting activities for you to do nearby. Aberporth lies at the southern end of Cardigan Bay, not only is it a popular recreational fishing village in the summer, but it is also popular with divers and boating people.

Dolphins are often spotted close to the shore, and on rare occasions orcas and harbour porpoises can be spotted too! With stunning views, a rich wildlife and plenty of fun activities, why wouldn’t you want to visit? The local village also boasts a small number of cafes and restaurants that are just a short drive from the hotel.

We couldn’t celebrate all the great things that Wales has to offer without talking about our incredible county Ceredigion, could we?

From cosy-traditional-family farms, to the lonely mountain lanes, and to our astoundingly beautiful coastline coves, Ceredigion is picture perfect. With rural towns boasting local markets, idyllic fishing villages, and the cultural capital of Aberystwyth, there is no doubt that this county is the best home Penrallt could ask for. Galleries, the National Library of Wales, Wildlife, and stunning countryside and coastal walks, there is so much to see and do in Ceredigion.

Here at Penrallt Hotel, we’re proud to be located near to some of the most incredible Welsh Countryside and Coastal views.

Poppit Sands Beach is just a short drive from the hotel and is primarily known for its sandy beach, watersports, coastal walks, and incredible facilities nearby, such as convenient parking and a delicious cafe. The beach is also wheelchair accessible, with specialist beach wheelchairs available to hire.

It is the start (or end) of the 185 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which takes you all the way to Amroth in the south! Or, you can enjoy a smaller walk around the nearby St Dogmaels Village, which boasts a working flour mill, several pubs, restaurants and a fish and chip shop.

Finish up your day with a stay in one of our exquisite 4-star hotel rooms and then wake up to our scrumptious Welsh Breakfast options. We have dog-friendly rooms available for your pooches and family-sized rooms if you’re bringing children.
